Consumer Financing Facility by the Maldives Islamic Bank now available for Customers of Damas

Damas has launched a finance leasing scheme to its customers in partnership with the Maldives Islamic Bank. Through this Consumer Financing Facility (CFF) introduced under the Shariah concept of Murabahah General Asset Financing, the bank will buy the consumer goods requested by the customer before selling it to the customer. This financing facility is offered to employees of selected employers and monthly payable will be from direct salary deduction by the employers. 

Under the CFF of the Maldives Islamic Bank, the customer is eligible for financing up to a 100,000.00 Maldivian Rufiyaa. Installments can be arranged for a minimum tenure of 6 months or a maximum of 11 months.

Supply and Apply solution by Damas Paints Mart

A group of painters have teamed up with Damas Paints Mart to provide "supply and apply" paint solutions to customers. Damas Paints Mart was reopened with the new partnership initiative last week.

The team of painters have over 15 years of experience and have expressed their confidence in providing better interior and exterior paint solution to customers, on their successful completion of a professional painters training in Colombo. The training was conducted in the training room of Mt. Lavinia Hotel in Colombo and the laboratories of Multilac paint manufacturers, Macsons Pvt Ltd.

A total of ten painters were trained under the partnership project, from experienced painters groups in Male'. The groups have now teamed up with Paints Mart to undertake finishing projects in Male' and the surrounding resorts.

Night Market King and Queen

Thursday night, the Night Market Queen and King of Damas during this year's night market was crowned at Dharubaaruge. The pair was crowned by friend of Damas, Mr. Kelvin Cher from Oceanic Link Singapore. The meeting was attended by the Chairman and staff of Damas.
